TESTOSTERONE PROPIANATE

Generic Name: Testosterone Propionate

Medical Use: Testosterone Propionate is used to treat hormone deficiencies in men and women, in the treatment of hypogonadism (inadequate functioning of the testes or ovaries), symptoms of male climacteric, postpubertal cryptorchidism (a developmental defect marked by the failure of the testes to descend into the scrotum) and inoperable female breast cancer, and sometimes to help prevent postpartum breast engorgement.

Directions for Use: Testosterone Propionate is administered buccally or by injection. This medication should only be taken under strict medical supervision. All injections should be administered by a health professional at a registered medical facility. Never exceed the recommended dose. Store this medication at room temperature away from direct sunlight and moisture. Never exceed the recommended dose and never take this medication for any purpose other than its prescribed medical use.

When To Avoid: This drug has caused serious liver problems including liver failure, liver cysts and tumors. This medication should not be used by men with breast or prostate cancer. Due to serious adverse effects, this medication must not be used to improve athletic performance or physical appearance.

Side Effects: Serious, even fatal, effects can result from the abuse of this medication. These include nausea, vomiting, edema (swelling) of the hands and feet and jaundice. Headaches, acne and stomach are associated with the introduction of Testosterone Propionate to one’s system. Males can expect breast enlargement and more frequent, prolonged and painful erections. Yellowing, pain and inflammation my also occur at the injection sites. Increased hair growth on the face and body, male pattern baldness and anxiety and depression are also common among men. In women, menstrual irregularities, hoarseness, deepening of the voice, clitoral enlargement, increased facial hair growth, hardening of facial features, acne and loss of head hair are common. In children under the age of 18, Testosterone Propionate can lead to stunted growth as a result of early fusion of growing bones.
